The Power Rankings measure sector breadth health, not price performance. Each sector receives a Breadth Health Score from 0 to 100, then sectors are ranked from highest score to lowest score inside the selected universe.
The three pillars
ParticipationRaw average of the percentage of stocks above their 20, 50, 100, 150 and 200-day moving averages.
LeadershipTwo-year snapshot percentile rank of stocks making 20-day, 3-month, 6-month, 9-month and 12-month highs.
WeaknessNew lows are converted into a two-year snapshot percentile and reversed.
How the final score is calculated
Participation and Leadership are positive inputs. Weakness works in reverse because rising new lows are negative. For the score, the model subtracts the Weakness percentile from 100, so fewer new lows lift the score while more new lows pull it down.
90–100 = Very Healthy. 60–89 = Healthy. 40–59 = Average. 10–39 = Weak. 0–9 = Very Weak.
Rank changes and streaks
The 1 Day, 5 Day and 20 Day columns show changes in ranking position. Biggest Movers highlights the largest 5-day rank changes. Streaks tracks current #1, Top 3 and Bottom 3 runs inside the selected universe.
